PrideLink Terms and Conditions

By accessing or using PrideLink (the "Site”), which includes both the website and mobile applications available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store, you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("T&C”). Continued use of the Site after updates implies acceptance of any changes.

1. Parties

• PrideLink Corp and its owner(s) ("we,” "our,” "us”) operate the Site.
• Clients: Individuals seeking to hire freelancers.
• Freelancers: Individuals offering trades and services for a cost.

2. Eligibility

• This is a Canadian platform intended for Canadians. Users of any age may use the Site, subject to compliance with applicable laws.

3. Registration

To use the Site:

• Clients: Click Login/Join → Create Account. Provide first name, last name, email address, and create a password.
• Freelancers: Same as above, plus set time zone, provide a valid phone number, and upload a clear profile photo of your face for safety and security.

4. Scope of Services

PrideLink connects clients with freelancers. We act solely as a facilitator and are not a party to any service contract between clients and freelancers.

5. Payments

• All bookings and payments must occur through the Site for protection.
• Payments are processed via Stripe using escrow. Funds are released to freelancers after work completion.
• Currency: CAD.
• Refunds: Clients and freelancers must resolve refund requests directly.
• PrideLink is not liable for payment disputes outside the platform.

6. Taxes

PrideLink does not collect taxes. Freelancers are responsible for reporting earnings and filing taxes with applicable government authorities.

7. Responsibilities

• Clients: Provide clear project details and timely payments.
• Freelancers: Deliver agreed services professionally.
• Prohibited: Illegal activities, harassment, misuse of the platform.

8. Intellectual Property

All PrideLink content, trademarks, and branding are protected. Users may not copy or misuse platform materials.

9. Dispute Resolution

Disputes will be resolved through arbitration or mediation in the jurisdiction where the service occurred.

10. Limitation of Liability

PrideLink and its owner(s) are not responsible or liablefor:

• Freelancer conduct or service quality.
• Downtime, data loss, or indirect damages.

11. Account Suspension/Termination

Accounts may be suspended or terminated for:

• Harassment, criminal activity, fraudulent behavior.
• No-shows for booked appointments.
• Breach of these T&C.

13. Miscellaneous

• Force Majeure: We are not liable for events beyond our control.
• Severability: If any clause is invalid, others remain enforceable.
• Updates: We may update these T&C at any time. Continued use implies acceptance.
